This is a great idea.. I'm in. It works out for me wonderfully because the summer camp that I go to and love is putting on a winter retreat the last weekend in January, so I'll be coming off of that and then get to do this.

Hi there Mark! I wanted to know more about this "camp" on Feb 2nd but wasn't able to find it (could be b/c I'm not actually up on the blog & facebk & all)...No, I'm not old fashion just very busy with 2 young kids while trying to put every effort into working with our youth at church & my internet is slow-which doesn't go into my busyness. Since I do have the moment to write I'd like to say how very much I enjoyed you coming & speaking to us @ the strength 2 stand conf. I cant tell you enough how much I got from your youth leader session! My group also spoke highly of all you said to us in group sessions! I've always thought a lot about you (& melanie...when your married your'e one right) & casting crowns! So I'll continue to pray for you all & your families! Keep fighting for the hearts of humanity!

Hi guys - sorry, not commenting on your blog, but didn't know where else to contact you. Is it possible to get the lyrics for the hidden song on your cd The Alter and The Door? Love this entire cd, btw, but my favorite is Slow Fade - it really spoke to my heart and convicted me, so thank you. let me know about the lyrics please - thanks again - Tracey

I'm definately in. My church does the same thing you guys do, go away to a church camp for a little under a week during the summer. And man, it is absolutely wonderful to have that time. It'll be especially hard since the technology and the temptations will be close at hand whereas at an actual camp, most of that stuff isn't really within reach. So it'll definately be a challenge but I'm actualy really excited about it. So i'm in. =]

Good Morning! I hate to admit it, but I have never even visited the Casting Crowns website until this day. I have loved your music for years. I know that the lyrics are anointed! Through them, God has touched my heart and soul deeply. Thanks for being vessels for Him. About camp...I love the idea. I have been needing fellowship with other believers who don't mind sharing their faith. I will try to be involved each day. Thanks for this chance.

Thank you for all of your encouragement. Just last night I asked God to make me over, take away everything that is not of Him, so that only He remains. Then today I log onto your site and boom: an opportunity.
I'm going through a devotional on worship and Psalm 63 was the first lesson. I love how God puts "coinsidences" in our lives to re-edify what we are learning.
I'm in!!!!

I'm not sure exactly where i should post this... But I need to tell you this.
I am a christian, grew up in a christian home, my parents are wonderfully gifted pastors. But this is a bit of my story.
I used to be a very happy child... then something that i didnt understand started happening to me... I started getting sexually abused by Christian men.. I was 7 and like ususal i was told not to tell anyone because this was a secret sacred act for just them and me. This went on for years.. i became so confused... and even though i loved the Lord i started looking for love from anyone... and you're right, i WAS waiting for my prince charming to save me.... I drifed away from church... i then married the first man that said he loved me... but he used to beat me all the time... i was told i desrved it cause i was out of line.... i believed this and was also too scared to tell anyone. I then seperated and Divorced him, but was judged and told that divorce is of the devil, so i thought i was condemed then. Then A friend of mine a couple of months ago told me about a band "Casting Crowns" i started listening to the cd she gave me and i instantly felt it speaking to my heart... i was on my knees crying out to the lord.. i was listening to "who am i" it was at this moment that i felt his sweet sweet love around me. The same friend then took me to your concert in Brisbane Australia.... The little testimony's you gave touch my heart so much especially about the girl in your town that was judged so quickly... and the song "does anybody hear her" feels so close to home for me... I have now re committed my life to the Lord and my life is moving forward... I have also now taken up a role as the youth leader in my parents church and the youth are relating to me in the most amazing way.. They are all being touched by the lord and have such a fire in them for God! I just wanted to take the time and really say thanyou... the lord used you to save me. Thankyou for following your call!!

I was at Parachute music festival last weekend, enjoyed it heaps....but made the bad and wrong desion to drink on sunday night, so i missed your performance and cant rember the night, but i woke up to music on the main stage followed by casting crowns, and every word of every song seemed liked it was aimed at me, and every word that you spoke seemed like it was aimed at me, so I thank you...big wake up call for me, and I will be joining you for youth camp for as much of everyday as i can and stay awake for....so this is one guy for new zealand that heard what you spoke of and is willing to change! Like you said its my soul thats saved but my mind thats lost!!! peace

Mark,
I think this is an awesome idea and really admire you for including everyone else in your walk with God. I'm excited about the group God time and Bible Study together. I'm definately in! I look forward to meeting with you and others as we share the love of God. What the world needs now is Jesus!

Mark, I'm TOTALLY into this!
Being a working Mom, it is SO hard to remain consistent in the devo time...and it makes it harder to live out the faith.
You've got a GREAT idea!
