Hi Mark! I've been a fan of your music since the day I heard your first album, and I've been blessed to see you perform in person with my husband and 2 beautiful (now teenage) daughters. I just wanted to write a note of encouragement to you for this amazing blog "Crowns' Camp". You are a truly gifted musician and worshiper who draws those who hear your music into the throne room of God. I am so blessed to have listened to "day 4" today and see how God has now led you to expand your gift to coming alongside your brothers and sisters in Christ in this way! What an amazing servant... I can hardly wait for my 14 and 16 year old girls to get plugged into this. They are blessed to be at a Bible teaching church and youth group on fire for the Lord...but they still live in this fallen world and encouragement such as what you present in Crowns' Camp adds another layer of armor. Thanks again from a Mom and Sister in Christ! I will be praying for your ministry.

Is anyone else having trouble getting day 4 to play?
Posted by: AMHW | February 12, 2009 at 11:36 AM
I had trouble getting it to play. It started and about a minute into it it stopped and was frozen after a little while it started again and stopped at 5:18. Couldn't get it to start again.

Todays Camp was by far the best for me. So much to think about and ponder on. Thanks. I am getting so much out of this.

I am playing catchup today. Wasn't able to get on the computer yesterday or this morning, but have prayed each morning. My biggest struggle in life right now is my marriage. So, I am praying the Power of a Praying Wife prayers everday for my husband. Read a little of Habakkuk last night before bed and had bible study during the day, which was great! Looking forward to getting into the word tonight after watching day 3 & 4. Also, recieved news that a friends wife passed away yesterday (42 yrs. old) from cancer. 2 young daughters (12ish & 9ish), but know the family are believers and heard she spoke with her girls about being Godly women, marrying Godly men and to not be mad at God. AWESOME! I know they lived it for their girls too!

Wow Mark!
Thank you so very much for giving me such a wonderful blessing today and for the many other ways through your music you all do for us out here. When I need inspiration &/or a little "pick me up" all I have to do is listen to my favorite cd "Lifesong" & each time, I'm touched. God has blessed me so through your singing & now your online talks that I listen to. Thank you & it's my dream to someday get to see you all live. I'm in small town Ohio so hopefully you'll be close soon. May God continue to keep you all safe & in His care.
Love, Whitney

This Camp has definitely begun to open my eyes to what I need to get rid of in my life and what I need to add to it. It's kinda like when my room gets to be such a mess of clutter, I just want to take EVERYTHING out and only bring back in the things that I need one at a time. It's amazing! On Sunday night when I first heard of this, I was hesitant to join. I thought, no way can I give up everything cold turkey for an entire week! But truth-be-told, I sit here on day 4 in absolute shock because I haven't even given second thoughts to some of the things I used to do 20 times a day *ahem*Twitter*ahem* :p Granted I still have those moments now and then thinking "Wow that would be a great thing to Twitter about." But I don't find myself the least bit anxious to do so. The only thing I didn't give up completely is Jeremy Camp's boards, but only because I'm a moderator so it's kinda my job :p But I did refrain from posting (except for the thread where I discuss this Camp) and it's HARD but I'm doing it :) And MySpace and Facebook, I don't miss at all. Of course, when you replace these things with time in the Word, how COULD you miss it? :) But I also have more time for family and catching up with friends, and even my sleeping habits have changed! I don't know how much longer you plan to keep this up, but I'll be with ya to the end and beyond! Praise God for giving me the strength and courage to just dive right in the way I did! :) God bless you for doing this!

Hey Mark
First off I LOVE CC,
saw you at Night of joy last year...Amazing.
Day 4 is my favorite cause its where my weakness is. The battle of the heart and the battle of the hands. So When I heard this. I set up a filter on my computer and sent the password to my youth pastor. But I despreatly want accountability with someone. But none of my friends seem like the kind that I can be open and accountable with. Any advice? anyone really who reads this alexblv@aim.com
I hope to starve out my old life completely and for the most part, have been unsucessful.
Thankyou, and God bless
